June holidays 10 june

havent been blogging for almost 1 and a half month! surely ive been busy =/

Just have to admit that J2 school life is getting busier! Though its the school holidays now, there are extra lessons, remedials, consultations and whats more? MOCK exam HAHHA

Updates about the past one and half month:

Physics and Chemistry SPA is officially over! (: phew! its like.. FINALLY ! but yeah.. made mistakes for almost all the SPA.( the funniest and dumbest was writing wrongly the Mr of oxgyen as 12 instead of 16!) guess i just have to work doubly hard for the written papers! Need to pray for wisdom and strength!

Lessons were as usual, amazingly our maths, physics and econs syllabus is completed! chemistry? not any near, syllabus is ending only in aug for chem, sadly! :( *Revision seems more interesting than new chapters haha!

Completed the mid year H1 papers just last week. screwed? Didnt complete GP paper 1! only did 2 body paragraphs! ahh hahaha! but i dont get penalised so much for grammatical errors at least (: Economics paper was a tough one and whats worst. i wasnt well prepared! ive learnt my lesson i hope! Nonetheless, thank god that i completed the 3 hours paper!

Last week of April

Its hard to recall after not blogging an entire month! Briefly recalled a trip down to singapore bible college. We explored around the school and also went to pui yan "to see's" room! It was definitely a good opportunity for us to think of whether if we'll want to do bible study there next time. I dont know? will need to continue to pray about this! Anyway, it was raining that day and lok wah was kind enough to send us home! Thank you (:

May1, labour day! It was a school holiday! Church organised some kind of "sports day" at ACS barker's indoor sports hall in the morning! More interesting than i imagined! afterall, yellow team won!

Initally, the plan was to go to ECP to cycle to fufil eliz's wish to cycle after her exams! But due to global warming and the extreme hot weather, majority objected and voted to have bbq at ivan's house instead. Bbq was still hot! the hot weather is really making me burn, like in an oven! haha!

10,11 may celebrated mother's day with mummy!

Dad was overseas, sunday afternoon was left with me and mummy to dine together(:

After eating, shopped around with mum at bugis! mummy brought shoes that day(: On the way, bumped into christopher and he said he thought that my mum and i looked like friends! my mum was surely happy when i told her tht! (:

The next day too was spent with my mum! Went to tampines 1, the newly opened shopping mall to shop with mum! Mum bought 7 tops and a necklace compared to me buying only 1 pants. she really can shop HAHA. enjoyed the day! hope that the we'll go shop together again soon!

Saturday, 18 april
A day filled with different emotions,
Dad has flew back to hongkong, and he'll be away for a month=/

Had mural wall painting project in the morning, many from my class volunteered to come! thanks to all! though what atracted them was the CIP points awarded ahah!
We started and completed the tracing and pasting of the mural at an incredible speed. It wasnt even 10am when it was done! YAYNESS

Breakfast with the guys at subway after the "hardwork" Gossip about everything under the sun. Dint know guys love to gossip soo much HAHAHA. When we left, it was time to meet ka jie (kapo) to head down to Bugis to enjoy food at the newly opened EMPIRE STATE restaurant @ iluma(: Thank God i could make it as i initially coundnt beause of the mural work! (:
By the time we reached, guess what. Kahei had already waited and stoned for 30 minutes more HAHA! opps sorryy! guess me and kapo are famous LATE QUEENS(: Pizza there was delicious, and the burger too! i Wont mind going there a second time !

Then it was Farewell dinner for Weishun. Met 08S16 at 6 and we all went to 天天火锅 to have our dinner! ALmost everyone went, even joel and zhuyi! (: All of us sat around the table, we started crapping, eating and i guess most of us had fun (: Hope Weishun enjoyed the day too! Really admire weishun for his courage to make the choice and really wish he will be happy in his new class! (:

Monday, Lessons as usual,

monday blues, i was feeling quite tired that day, probably cause i slept at 2.30 the previous night! Was chionging the Gp essay with serene awww!

Tuesday was a long and bad day for me. felt quite sick from the start of the day, and worst of all, i had GP tuition tht night. reached home at 10.30, i was burning at 38 degrees. yes. FEVER :(

Skipped school on wednesday, doctor gave me MC for 2 days.

Still, i chose to go to school on thursday to take physics SPA but i made careless mistake :/

Its been a month since i last blogged!

Time flies and its a month since the march holidays!

Common test are over, results are already back! life has been busy for me!

Gonna work hard and improve my grades for MYE!

Lectures are going at fast pace, tutorials are as usual, classmates are more enthusiatic in studies and yeah, JC2 life seems so different! Have been doing work with xinyi after school recently! hope we'll improve together! " Our english will and must improve!"(:

Back to the previous weeks.

3, 4 ,5 april.

It was meimei's birthday! so we made something specially for HER! Met up on both friday and saturday night just for the " notebook."

Friday night, ate at mac, brash basah. Tried to complete making the present for meimei but unfortunately we didnt. Looking at so many of our old pictures, it really brought back beautiful memories!

Saturday, to the old folks home, act out a skit for the old folks. I acted as a dog -_- woof! The trip to the old folks home was a fufliling one, pastor wong's talk reminded me to not worry so much and trust God(:

Then went back to Church area meet bojie( thanks for waiting so long for us!) with kahei to make meimei's beautiful notebook(: On the way, we chatted about our ambition and it was only then i knew that he wants to join the media industry! wow. Jia you! Anyway, due to some wrong inference, i realised he isnt as "cheung to man" as i thought he was, but hes still much better than lots of guys! hahaha!

Almost completed the present that night, pasting pictures and writing words inside! Just hope meimei feels the love and hard work!(:

Sunday: 派單張

Some of us were allocated to bugis area to give out tracts during our fellowship. It had been half a year since we gave out tracts to nearby passerbys, spreading the word of christ and also informing them about worship time at our church every sunday.

Saw dorothy, leting while giving out tracts! hahaha we screamed when we saw each other, haha some said we sounded like monkeys who didnt know how to talk! aww. guess i was too happy (:

It was raining heavily that day and so we were stuck at bugis and couldnt get back to church to retrive our bags! but thanks to some who managed to go back! Thanks junting for helping me take my bag! hahaha his picture carrying my bag is funny!

Ate at hongkong cafe for lunch, celebration for meimei's bdae! hope she liked the notebook we made! Then, some of us went to explore the newly opened iluma shopping centre opposite Bugis junction! many shops were not opened, but we saw this lovely restaurant, The empire state. the lady boss let us in to take picture and even took a picture with us! The restuarant's official opening would be on 18 april, we promised to be there to support her haha!

The Rest of the school week was busy as usual, got back our PW results (: A. Hard work with the group paid off! Its time we treat the teachers who help us and at the same time have a meal together! (:

10, 11 , 12 April

Its finally school holiday! its good friday, thank god for dying on the cross for our sins. Church in the morning and i thought the message reminded me of why jesus died for our sins! Then, time for a movie! (: Went to watch Fast and Furious at iluma. Didnt really understand the show but it was still nice watching those exciting scenes.

Then, Met emily at bishan! Had a hearty chat! chatted and updated each other about our lives. Still remember the times when we chatted many hours on the phone, for many days in a week! Emily! im just a call away!

Saturday, Welcome back Tszlam!

Had dinner with tszlam at suntec, nyny. been spending so much time with the fellowship, bojie organising so many gatherings for bonding as fellowship!

Some remind for myself:Stop being forgetful!

I actually left a folder at the toilet at raffles city while on the way to suntec! Walked all the way back from Suntec and Thank God i retrieved my stuff and its not missing! On the way, saw meimei too. It's quite miraculous because if i didnt bump into her, she would have thought we were dining at nyny citylink. whats worst? Her handphone battery was flat.

Had a great meal, but left earlier and accompanied elizabeth to go off first as she needed to go home early. Talked to elizabeth and realised we were similar as we cry easily when we are angry and dissapointed.

Sunday, Easter day , the day where jesus rose from the dead!

Fellowship time, we decorated eggs!

love those egg! i has been ages since i last decorated an egg! hahaha! my egg was an angel! (: love it soo much! I think charlie's egg was super cute too! he decorated it as a soldier! its all green! He is mad with army hahaha!.

13-17 april

Usual lessons, tiresome PE, fast paced lectures, packed tutorials. Its all gonna be over in 5 months (: till then.

Tommorow will be a long day, reaching sch at 8 am for mural painting project. and class gathering at night.

Still quite sad that i cant join kahei they all to the newly opened "empire state" at iluma! hope the mural thing ends early so i can rush there! We promised the lady boss we'll be there!

Next week would be Physics SPA! bunsen burner! ah. hope i dont screw it up! no worries right! (:

1st day, reached safely ,Malaysia, Pulai Springs resort! (:

we 6 girls, Wendy, Kapo, Meimei, Jaqueline, Yanling and me lived in the same room! Beautiful room, nice facilities and all! really is a blessing to be able to enjoy for the 3 days!

So we settled in the hse, unpacked then we went down for a swim at the small pool! 7 years since i last swim! Next was dinner time!!

We had alot of food, some were spicy or crispy but all in all i think the food is not bad! just glad to have so much food! but also mad me reflect, its ironic compared to the mission trip to thailand, where we only had a bowl of rice and 2 dishes shared by 5 people. hmm. thank God we are fortunate. xD

Then we al assembled at the Hall, we were all spilt into 4 groups, with the adults and each group had to act out a skit together on the next night! Anyway after discussing, it was " bed time / free and easy time! " so yeah! timothy fellowship people gathered at our room, " bonding session!"

Play Snap jack, finger game, pig game and more.. hahha!

and before all of us slept we had a prayer together! most of us really thank god that we all, around half the fellowship could really go to this place and bond and have fun! It was 3 am then, and we all sat around the coffee table, tried hard to sleep HAHA many of them had difficulties so they went back to their rooms(:

Day 2,

woke up late and dint manage to go to do early exercise and morning devotion with the adults! =/ Breakfast was delicious, i love breakfast the most out of the 3 meals!

Lunch time!

Buffet style meal! (:

Its amazing though we 12 had to squeeze to sit around a 4 person table, but guess we all enjoyed the meal too! Then we went to play billard/ pool or its just hitting balls. HAHA cause really not good in it. so some of us just tried to hit! anyway its fun (:

3+pm ! Swimming again! went to the big pool, with SLIDE! wheee. anyway the highlight was that we hid the guys' shirts and unknowingly at the same time they hid kapo's shoes! Splashing water is fun too! Then at 5 in the evening, had meet up with the adults to practice the skit for the night!

from 2 samuel 11- 12 ! our grp won that night! we had amazing " male "actor as King David!

HAHA actually the prizes is shared among the adults and our groups! but we just borrowed them to take pictures!

Then its night time, " bed time" free and easy time again!

this night we had the younger ones joining us and we played truth or dare hahaa! Got to know soo much of each other through this " ice breaking" game! but no cameras allowed, so no pictures =/ aww!

Day 3! last day, 6 am

Meimei had to leave early, to go back to school for classes i think, we send her off to take taxi with her dad!

Went to do 早操 with the adults, then morning devotion too (: Thank god we could all wake up early! not like the first morning!

Breakfast was amazing again! pictures while we were eating!

Then we had closing ceremony, many words of give thanks, Thank god that the church was able to organise this camp, where all of us get to know one another, even the young people and the old people! and some last pictures we took before we left the resort to go to shopping!

Off to shopping , but actually it was playing arcade at the shopping centre hahaha!

Wednesday 18 march

Chem remedial, and at night was BBQ with the choir people ! miss them loads! saw many seniors i havent seen for almost a year! Really brings back memories 1/2 years ago!

had to take a long bus trip from tampanis 40 minutes to the bbq site! that place was the place i had chalet one year ago with timothy fellowship! Also brought back many memories (:

and Enjoyed the hearty talk with yingying at amk mrt! really memorable cause we stood and talk for nearly 30 minutes HAHA i still miss the usual talking place! one day lets go there and talk for a day! xD

Went to canteen A opposite church, as usual, lunch with fellowship people. After we finished our food, we started making sounds. Its super humorous! Made lizard, frog, Engine?, machine gun, fart sounds HAHA! i guess we were too bored! But i think its fun! Then we took some pictures (:

So after that i head back to church to pastor wong's office. Helped her with using Facebook HAHA! its quite cool to see her interested in it! Anyway she so is nice cause she gave me biscuits to eat , from hongkong!

Then around 4pm, time to go to Macdonalds " the golden arches", to do homework of course. Shan and her friend was alr there and we stayed there till after dinner (: Whee think i did some work today !

A day which i am free, spent almost the whole afternoon to finish blogging the previous post!

My rabbit is sick, has a swollen area under its right eye, white discharge on that eye. Brought it to the vet at 4 in the afternoon and the doctor says it has a tooth decay! pushing towards the tear dut. But the main point is that it has to undergo a SURGERY on thursday! :( and whats worst, A HIGH RISK surgery, it might die?

Nonetheless, I know

Its MArch 6, One month since i last blog!

HAHA I miss blogging! blogging makes me reflect about life and think about happy things and all! now i shall try and recall everything that has happened for the past month! hope this is gonna be an uber long POST! (:

9 Feb monday

monday as usual but our class had an " excursion trip" to asian civilisation musuem(: Its kinda good experience, though the walk around the musuem is tiring! honestly~ HAHA but yeah taking train , walking n big grp to museum tgt walking across the Bridge across Singapore river hahaha! nice scenery!

So. the trip ended at 6+ and i rushed down to Bugis for the CYGNUS clan identity thing! so happy that finally the identity is SETTLED! whee ! just 3 more days to Orientation!

so i was carried Two red plastic bags -_- and went back to meet the class for dinner @ makansutra! (: Dinnered, some stayed longer to crap and said jokes SUPER FUNNY ONES! HAHA (:

MY day didnt end just like that!

Leting Came over to my house for Sleep over that night!(: Cause dad and mom was back in HK and Brother? Army =/ so sleepover was FREEDOM!(:

That night, we went to shop for food for the class(valentines day cele the next day)!

" HELLO PANDA " for the class and we stayed up late to write the little notes for them(: by the time we finished it was like 12 + .. 1 am?

still not tired.!

Off to play WII(: Leting was crazy over it. YES crazy. she was screaming and shouting in the middle of the night. 3 am when Wii ended.

THEN MASS DANCE , FUN DANCE , CUTE DANCE in my living room LOL guess we were excited for ORIENTATION! mad. 3 am dance. Worst is . after dance we were hungry and we COOKED maggie noodles. (: finally we slept at 4 plus. (:

10th Feb

Valentine Celebration in School! Oh continued from the previous day, slept at 4. so we woke up at hmm.. 6.40 . YES NEARLY LATE . but we took cab and managed to reach ON THE DOT! (:Thank god!

Valentines day, little gifts from everyone, i gave hello panda HAHA(: hope everyone likes the food! yeah and thank you all who gave me a little something even if it was one sweet HAHA(: and specially to mention, Cj thanks for the Flower (: and Serene cause of specially remembering the fact that i " not so like" to eat choco! and prepared a SPECIAL pack of goodie for me WAHAH. Had Cygnus final practice for the dance for theopening performance" TML" !

11 Feb ORIENTATION DAY ONE!

Opening Performance! wow. guess Cygnus performance was No. 1!

WHEEE Weeks of practice! felt abit dumb while dancing but quite glad ppl laughed XD

2nd day was FUN! took lots of photos for them, hehs for making montage for them at the end of the orientation! Dancing, funny celine , grace and jo han thing! Station games the time when the class was bonded! and War games yeah Cygnus " We have Won the War"

13FEBUARY! FINALAE ORIENTATION!

Its the LAST and Best day of orientation! They learned all the Dances!, Cygnus Cheers!, STAR CEREMONY! wow! our 90 000 star record!! LOL YEAH DINNER AND DANCE! n CLAN performance!

The Clan performance was Excellent! the BARBIE song! haha! Cygnus was one of the highest during finalae! was standing on the benches throughout! and cheering ! " We are family, orion , pavo , cygnus and me ! " XD 09A05! guess they ALL enjoyed the night TOO! (:

14 Feb Valentine's DAY!!

Its Saturday, Valentine's day but i have Maths make up in the morning 8 AM. so yeah obviously i was late! awww. But mr poh is really Kind eh. sacrifice V day for us HAHA(:

after that was Lunch! Serene, Johnathon, Leting, JunLi , ALEX! and me @ Mos burger Lot One! talked about Lots of stuff! JunLi in particular was FUNNY! HAHA but yeah what he says make sense. and yeah surprisingly serene , leting talked bout stuff we normally dont mention about BREAKthrough? (:

Then met Ivan to go church to prepare the pictures/video for the mission trip sharing, which is gna be on 20 FEB ( fri)! So we met and LOT one, and we saw this funny person, about 160cm, short spiky hair, holding a bouquet of flower. The funny thing is, We couldnt figure out if he/she is a lady or man! HAHAHA.

So reached church, started choosing pics with shan, Looked at all the pictures from thailand. and recalled many of the wonderful experiences we had in chiangrai; Really Thank god for that experience, the things we learned through the trip and the memories we had!

The weather was great! Beautiful sunlight, took a picture with Peiqi! HAHA shes obsessed with sunlight which reflect colourful sceneries!(:

So we headed down to NUS , by train , then bus and finally reached! We had to wear home clothes, though i realise the fact that we stayed together as a class made it so obvious that we are not students of NUS. HAHA cant imagine we'll be university students in 2 year, girls or 4 years time for guys. Toured around the library of NUS ( guided tour) haha and i found this SPECIAL place So suitable for me . The Chat point! specially for people to make calls inside the enclosed area! wow so cool.

18, 19 Febuary - Back to church to prepare for mission trip sharing!

20 Febuary - Met With 09A05!

Did a slideshow for the loved ones, Cj made a heart for each of them and we wrote ur personal message to them! hope they will keep those hearts! (:

So we thought Daniel was leaving, to HCI, guess if he really left, everyone would miss him! but he came back to PJC! Whee. Grace must be smiling! (:

Mission Trip sharing at night, 7.30 Grace church.

It was finally the time to share our mission trip with the rest of the church. What we learned, experience and did at Chiangrai. Thank God that the sharing session and prayer meeting went smoothly, that God heard our prayers! Listening to the sharing by the teamates, recalled how God was with us, The things we gave thanks for. and also many things we learned and experience i the trip! (: The montage, brings back lots of beautiful memories! Pray that i'll remember what i learned and promised god in the trip!

At night: Was farewell to Pastor Loh @ my hse function room.

Its a blessing to have Pastor Loh with us for 3 years, in grace church. Though i only talked to her mostly during the days before my baptism, i will always remember the encouragement she gave me! Her heart to always serve God even more, doing her best for God is something which i can learn from.

The night started with dinner, then singpiration, and it was the time when some groups had " performance" for her. My mum acted in one of the skit, it was quite amusing! hahaha hope pastor loh knows that we will keep her in our prayer. (:

After that the adults each had to say something to her, the adults mostly mentioned about the hard work she put in for the Lord, thanking her for her teaching and they also recite bible verses for her! So, the people who were "not adults" like Ivan, me were eating grapes while listening, and the even younger kids were playing NDS/ gameboy/ other E games. Though i didnt say anything to her, pray that i will keep her in my prayers. A bible verse i wanted to tell her,

The Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

23-27 Febuary, A hectic week with Phy SPA and lots of test.

Though i made a huge careless mistake during the Physic Spa, thank god i manage to admend some of the answers though i didnt had time to change all. Im glad its over (:

Saw the beautiful Rainbow at CCK libarary with Leting, while studying the Phy SPA.

It was really beautiful.

28 Febuary Grace in Praise!

Studied with Shan @ Macdonalds for 2 hours (: Read some Chemistry SPA notes, tried to memorise(: The old macdonalds we grow up with has renovated. It looks so refreshed, comfy chairs! colour like NYNY!

It was raining heavily, nearly couldnt go back to church on time! but Thank God , it was only drizzling when we walked back

5.30pm, Back to Church for final rehersal for our 2 songs, 如鷹展翅, You are Holy.

Listened to many Praises that night, A teenage girl from EC, wrote a song "I will praise you", the song had brought her back to God from the many distractions in life. Then, Ryan and Ivan had violin and Piano Duet, amazing. Thank god they are using talents god gave them to bring glory to God! (: CC2 praise group, Thank God that they are serving God in praise, every Sunday, in leading people in praise, by singing, playing drums, playing guitar!

Viewed a film about a missonary, a true life story. Part 1

Its about this missionary who was a dad, going to another country to spread the good news. He loved the people there and really wanted to let them know about God's love. However, he lost his life before he could communicate with the people. His son was really upset and dissapointed. The next part of the documentary, it makes us think how his son will react, whether to accomplish what his father was doing( spread gospel) or to give up? Think we'll see the film two weeks later(:

Monday and tuesday: Maths, Physics Gp test, Glad its over!

Chemistry Spa on wednesday, Also just like Phy Spa made a careless, funny mistake. But it is a miracle, and thank God that there was a way out. (:

Most of the test, SPA is over! Slept for 12 hours on wednesday night! 6 to 6pm, guess i was really tired.

Saw the release of the results for the 2007 batch of seniors, Top students, Best improved students going up to stage to recieve ther certificates! Wow. Hope everyone is motivated now, and that the motivation will last!Congrates to many who did well for the Alevels, Do not be discouraged for others who is not satisfied.

Thank God i passed Chinese(: WHEE i got a C. the first time i scored beyond an E!

Off to the staffroom to look for 谭老师! Thank you for her patience towards our class! and the effort she put in to improve our chinese!

Saturday,

Woke up at 11+ in the morning!

its been ages since i last woke up so late! Then there is this activity in church at 2 that all the commitee members had to attend.

So i rushed, cleaned my rabbit cage, bathed and rushed out of the house! and actually i forgotten about lunch! HAHA but yeah on the train, recieved msg from ivan asking me to wait for him telling me that he is eating alone -_-. then i recalled about FOOD! breakfast and LUNCH! i totally forgot about them! =/

so i grabbed a burger at mos and we reached church almost 2.30! late for half an hour. But nobody from our fellowship was at that activity, LOL? so its like many adults. but yeah so we sat there to listen to the sermon for 30mins. I learned that as christians, we will need to ask God to forgive our sins, reflect upon them and change (:

So it was 3pm and we left halfway for church youth choir, ( imagine , coming late and leaving early from the activity -_-) Choir was as usual, Doing excercise, Singing praise to God . two songs : You are Holy and 如鷹展翅(: Rebecca, our choir instructor, will be going back to HK. we'll need to pray for her tight schdule to fly to HK on 14th for funeral, she needs to fly back on 16th.

After choir, Searching for stuff time! Looking for chopsticks, dumbell, Spray paint. Walked to dhoby ghurt with shan, then headed to daiso, didnt find anything and back to bugis then to brash basah for Spray paint. Cheapest $4 a can. But today i realised i dont need them anymore to spray chopsticks, cause the FINALAE isnt at the canteen anymore!! so we cant use chopsticks as clan identity. so great .

Ate dinner at brash basah, Thanks Ivan for accompanying me to eat.(: Then, it was back to church for the Ruth skit at night! Returned umbrella to elizebeth in church. Thanks elizebeth for lending me umbrella though i dint use it (:

Basically, Naomi has a husband and two sons with two daughter in laws ( Ruth and Orpah)

However, both her husband and her two sons died, living behind her, ruth and orpah. Naomi persuaded both of them to go back to their mothers home; she knewed that Orpah and Ruth would face a bleak and uncertain future if they returned to bethleham with her. so orpah went home but Ruth was determinded to go with Naomi. Ruth did the unexpected. she displayed incredible loyalty. She chose a life without husband and no propect of marriage. devoting herself to an old woman.

Naomi, spoke about God in the first few verses; 1:16-17 , 1: 20

She was conscious of his work in the universe and her life. but she misjudged him and misjudged life.

So they left for bethleham where the barley harvest was beginning.

Ruth decided to follow reapers during harvest to pick up from the ground any grains left behind.

Then, she found herself working in Boaz's field ( Boaz, influencial relative of Naomi). Coincidentally, Boaz saw Ruth at the field and noticed her. Boaz then made Ruth's life easier, also invited her t eat with harvesters and made sure she had adequate food. When she went home, the amount of barley she took home is so much more than she expected to take back. Behind what appears to be human luck lies divine purpose. The hand of God is at work even in these " accidents " in life.

Next scene :

Naomi cooks up a scheme for Ruth. ( read Ruth 3: 1-4 ) Naomi tries to answer her own prayer in Ruth 1:9 . What we can learn is that God works through human actions, we can learn from Naomi as not to wait passively for events to happen but we can pray and sieze opportunity when there is one.

- Ruth was not engaged to Boaz that night ( according to Levirate law, if a man died without a heir, his brother was to marry the widow. the first born son will be the legal heir to the deceased husband )Boaz not the closest relative, thus he had to let another man who is closer to Naomi by family ties to make the choice. Then finally, Boaz married Ruth.

- God provied bread through Ruth finding grains.

- God provided Ruth's security through her marriage to Boaz

- God provied future generations for Naomi and Ruth's ex husband.

Life can seem haphazard and accidental. But over all seeming accidents in our lives God is at work.

The skit was professional, but the sound system isnt really good, couldnt hear some of the words the actors were saying and also couldnt hear what the 牧师 said at the end for conclusion. Pehaps cause we were sitting at the 3rd level? hahha But thank God that i revisited the book of Ruth! (:

i'll post what happened today tommorow, i need to do AQ now, its 11.02 and i have not started whee. xD

its the end of the week, enjoyed the day xD

Met Liling at sanctuary arnd 3.30pm! it brought back much memories, the times during PAE when we frequent the Sanc! hope we'll go there often too next time (:

4.30, to OGL stuff, got our new OGL and ORientation shirt(: the design is not bad haha but im going to hve 2 more shirts in my closet again! oh and yeah we had clan dinner at night tgt at Lot 2 (: though i didnt understand some of the stuff they gossiped about but haha still think that the dinner with them was great! second time eating with them outside alr(: Pray that orientation will be a success! We're meeting the new peeps TML!

Firstly, SORRY that im late like 1Hr plus for the ECP outing! "guilty face" =/ so i just saw emily for like 15 mins? then she had to leave. Then yy, joei and alicia had to leave too.! but its still GREAT to be able to see you all again during the last day of january this year! Seeing you girls make me happy! (: OH so at ecp was just left me and meiting and huimin!

Thank God that i have understanding friends, forgiving me for being myself. Some that never leave me,accompanying me, others that care loads for me too; though they could not be there physically! and yes, i was praying on the bus for the rain to stop, and thank God that the rain was stopping when i reached ECP. it couldnt be coincidence (:

Sunday school today at 9am, i was late for 15 minutes. =/ only shuqiao was there, even at that time. What happened to us? We used to be more punctual. Pray that really we'll be able to put God in first place! imagine, its meeting a very important person, we shouldnt be late! (:

here goes the story,

last sunday, 除夕， kahei had reunion dinner at chun long's house, so after we played pool at paradiz centre, we took the bus 857 together cause he's heading towards yishun too! So, we chatted bout loads of stuff on the bus, one thing we chatted about was : 崇拜, worship, he mentioned that sometimes he couldnt stay awake,HAHA i saw him dozing off before. and so i shared about my way to listen more attentively; to copy down the important stuff the 讲员 said! HAHAHA , i even told him about buying post it pads! we just smiled it off and changed topic. Then just today, i came in to the worship hall slightly late, so, me and qiao had to sit separetly, and yes, saw a seat beside ka hei and tada! yup, he used the post it pad to copy down stuff too! didnt doze off also! THANK God! its amazing(:

Look around for clan identity, needed something green. handbells? whistle? bells? shaker? we decided on shaker! and we;ll noe if there is stock tommorow afternoon! (: Then, shopped for clothes at bugis area, looking for something retro? to wear for opening performance haha! but yeah think the dress we both brought wsnt like retro? but hope it'll look nice on us! (: Its our first time shopping together, but hopefully not the last! enjoyed the day with wenjuan xD

Birthday dinner with syarf last night! we'll go back to PEIRCE together soon alright xD ate at pizza hut but i didnt eat pizza with them, ate pasta instad. CAUSE ive got a HUGE ulcer on my lips! it has been bothering me for the past two days! WHY such a big ulceR? hahaha cause on sunday, i was easily tempted to eat fries by charles. Ahhhh

i'll need to pray more to ask God to help me with the fruit of the spirit " self control!" HAHA its one of my new year resolutions for 2009! (:

Its CNY! (: Didnt get to go back to hongkong to 拜年。。。 but still called daddy and grandparents to wish them!

Did spring cleaning, in the afternoon, then went Rongxuan House at night! (: it wasnt so much considered 拜年, rather much of catching up session! We chat about whats going on in our lives and i also shared about the mission trip to thailand! Her room is more beautiful, even neater, with many new cabinets and 2 closets! We didnt manage to take pictures but what matters is that we both made each others' day, getting to know each other more and sharing our church and more! Hope we'll meet up soon and take pictures the next time! Till then =D

Shopping with meimei in the aternoon! it was since N years we last shopped tgt.. just the two of us! oh yes. and her cabinet is really neat! and her book shelf too! Evening was Timothy Prayer Meeting, Thank God that everything went smoothly and not too little people turn up specially just to pray for our fellowship! Went to the science centre in the morning to support Mr darren tan in his science buskers competition! HAHA he is really good and Xinyi n I each gave him 2 votes (: hope he'll get into the finals! Back to church in the afternoon for youth choir, teacher was especially good mood yesterday! hahaha and we are going to learn two new songs (: After choir it was non stop rushing for the making of the slideshow to show the seniors for that night's farewell dinner! Farewell dinner was fun! fun camwhoring though its only 11 of us ;cause many were unable to turn up. Its a farewell dinner but i guess this is definietely not the last meal we gonna have with the seniors xD a picnic soon?

New Year resolutions
1.Put studies as priority! ( its A lvls! )
2.Give thanks to god in everything! (: ( smthing i learnt from the mission trip)
3.More meekness , self control , patience!

Christmas Questionaire!
my dear friends (: this is for you!

What comes to your mind when you think of christmas?
Santa?, Presents? , shopping? , holiday? , party? or Jesus Christ?!

I agree with you that most people associate Christmas with party, shopping, sales and even Santa Claus because thats what we usually see in decorations in shopping centres. But thats not what Christmas is all about! Christmas is about the birth of a v special person! - Jesus christ!

What is the Best gift you have ever recieved for christmas?
Maybe loads of money? Watch? NecklacE? CLothings?

But Friends! do you know that theres a Wonderful gift that you can enjoy forever, a gift with no expiry date! And the bible teaches us that this gift is something tht will not rust, no thief can steal and it is called Eternal Life!

2008 years ago, Jesus ( his name which means he saves) was born to save us from great danger! which is the separation from ( or broken relationship) our Creator. This separation from God will lead to death, judgement and punishment ( Rom 6:23; 2 thess 1:9) We are in serious Danger :(!

But Jesus is here to save us~ Jesus took our punishment by dying on the cross for our sin. Only he can take the punishment because he is sinless ( 1 tim :5) However, Jesus' death is not the end... In fact , on the 3rd day, as predicted, he rose from the dead. He is the living God. God promises through believeing in JESUS christ, we will be able to enjoy reconcilled relationship with our creator again. This is called Eternal Life ( John 3: 16)

Jesus is God's special gift for us. But this gift can only be yours if u will trust in jesus christ to forgive your sin and sincerly want to follow him ( Rom 10" 9-10) may you recieve jesus now and become a child of god so that this xmas will be a specially meaningful and joyful one for you! (:

Dear lord Jesus christ, I thank you for coming into the world to save me from my sins and give me peace I believe you are the perfect Son of God who died on the cross to ransom my soul ad bring me peace with god. I repent of my sins and acknowledge You as my lord and savior. Please Forgive my sins and help me to live a life pleasing to God. Thank you lord Jesus for saving my soul, Amen..

Anyway, ive been planning my december holidays these few days! getting excited too! But at the same time.. to say the truth im thinking bout my next year's work. I haven touched that big pile of homework.. and i dont have time. january perhaps? nonetheless, i'll enjoy the decembers first (:

Been celebrating so many people's birthday This week.

Today was Audrey's 17th.

We were good old primary school friends. Its definitely Amazing that all of us are still so close till now.

And probably this is the 6th time we're celebrating your birthday for you!

We're running out of surprises, today's surprise wasnt quite there, but we knew you still enjoyed the night (:

~~ There once was a man named George Thomas, pastor in a small New England town.
One Easter Sunday morning he came to the Church carrying a rusty, bent, old bird cage, and set it by the pulpit.
Eyebrows were raised and, as if in response, Pastor Thomas began to speak...'I was walking through town yesterday when I saw a young boy coming toward me swinging this bird cage.
On the bottom of the cage were three little wild birds, shivering with cold and fright. I stopped the lad and asked, 'What you got there, son?' 'Just some old birds,' came the reply.

'What are you gonna do with them?' I asked.

'Take 'em home and have fun with 'em,' he answered 'I'm gonna tease 'em and pull out their feathers to make 'em fight. I'm gonna have a real good time'

'But you'll get tired of those birds sooner or later. What will you do?'

'Oh, I got some cats,' said the little boy. 'They like birds. I'll take 'em to them.'

The pastor was silent for a moment. 'How much do you want for those birds, son?'

'Huh?? !!! Why, you don't want them birds, mister. They're just plain old field birds. They don't sing. They ain't even pretty!'

'How much?' the pastor asked again.

The boy sized up the pastor as if he were crazy and said, '$10?'

The pastor reached in his pocket and took out a ten dollar bill. He placed it in the boy's hand. In a flash, the boy was gone.

The pastor picked up the cage and gently carried it to the end of the alley where there was a tree and a grassy spot Setting the cage down, he opened the door, and by softly tapping the bars persuaded the birds out, setting them free.

Well, that explained the empty bird cage on the pulpit, and then the pastor began to tell this story.

~~ One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation. Satan had just come from the Garden of Eden, and he was gloating and boasting. 'Yes, sir, I just caught the world full of people down there. Set me a trap, used bait I knew they couldn't resist. Got 'em all!'

'What are you going to do with them?' Jesus asked.

Satan replied, 'Oh, I'm gonna have fun! I'm gonna teach them how to marry and divorce each other, how to hate and abuse each other, how to drink and smoke and curse. I'm gonna teach them how to invent guns and bombs and kill each other. I'm really gonna have fun!'

'And what will you do when you get done with them?' Jesus asked. 'Oh, I'll kill 'em,' Satan glared proudly. 'How much do you want for them?' Jesus asked

'Oh, you don't want those people. They ain't no good. Why, you'll take them and they'll just hate you. They'll spit on you, curse you and kill you. You don't want those people!!'

'How much?' He asked again.

Satan looked at Jesus and sneered, 'All your blood, tears and your life.'

Jesus said, 'DONE!'

Then He paid the price.

Birthday surprise just for SHUEMEI!
The plot:
1. Desiree " accidently" took shuemei's worksheet/notes/stationary while they were studying together
2. Then, desiree had an " excuse" to meet shuemei at the void deck at night to return her the stuffs.
3. She suspected something. but, when she has reached the void deck, she saw only desiree holding her stuff.
4. Woo.. climax.. but, after 2 mins, we appeared holding her cake and present, singing her the bdae song!

Guess she enjoyed the surprise =D ( shant upload the pictures we took cause i know the bdae girl doesnt like her pics to be on the net)

Seoul garden day! i was really bloated after the meal! *Leting can really eat (bottomless pit stomach just like rongxuan) i also expectedly bump into meiting at seoul HAHAHA

After the meal: We went to try on the apparel dorothy was wearing! - of course we got chased out of the changing room.

Dorothy, me n leting wearing heels to exaggerate the height difference of us with serene -_-

Finally ~ Chinese A lvls and PW is over!

Weird day, but i still enjoyed it xD

To start off, i board the wrong bus and alighted at the wrong stop! =/
Then i realised that the bbq pit was at location G!( it actually cost $7 to cab from location C to G)

Of course, we dint cab there, double biked instead!

Oh: issac can really blade well. Wonder when Leting and I will reach his standard..! soon?

so we bbqed, crap , played poker , usual stuffs..

This is funny! zhu yi on the tree!

hahs caught them! but in the end issac still bladed .

Back to the weird day, we actaully had " night walk " -_- cause we coundnt find any bus stops when we were planning to go home! walked from 10.30 to 11++ just to find a bus stop! and we eventually reached bedok mrt missing the last train to city hall..

*At 11.38 we rushed to the interchange and was just on time for the last bus ( 11.40) back to yishun! Wooo. XD Thank you Lord!*
